heartbreaker

"He took her hands in his, and gently pressed a gift the size of his palm into hers. He pinned her with a gaze that bordered between lust and love, all the while gripping her hands tightly in his ; he was irrevocably in love with her.

"She accepted his gift with such grace and poise, an ever promising coy smile toying at the edge of her lips. it drove him crazy looking at her lips. She gently squeezed his hand and her grin gew a little wider, knowing with great familiarity it sent his heart into a frenzy; she was having a ball playing the field."

Bachelor number one came and went. bachelor number two entered, carrying a bigger, more promising gift in his hands. he charmed her with his boyish smile, and kissed her hands, ever the gentleman. her heart thumped a little harder, and she returned his smile with one that looked even more promising than his gift.

"He loved the smell of peachers in her hair, the way her laugh was loud and almost obnobxious but strangely infectious. He loved her for being silly and entertaining him with funny jokes. he was exeriencing an odd sensation of falling and flying at the same when he was around her; he could swear he was actually falling for this girl.

"She enjoyed his company. She liked it when he held her close and whispered funny things into her ear. she enjoyed touching him and caressing him like he was hers; she was having a ball flirting."

Bachelor number two came and went. bachelor number three entered. and so it continued until all the guys had met the girl. every one of them were different, and yet every single bachelor had experienced the exact same feeling; they were hooked on her. each and every one them could only pray that she would give them one chance, to show how they truly felt about her.

The moment of truth had arrived. the pretty lady sauntered in, hands held behind her back. she thanked them for all the lovely presents, she hugged and kissed each and every bachelor, thanking them profusely. she then requested for the men to be arranged in a single file line, facing her. with a smile that was sad and something resembling regret, she pulled out a gun, and shot each and every one of them. the bullet's that were released from her gun, had in fact, coincidentally punctured in only one paticular spot, the most vulnerable organ in the human body: the heart.

The closest people around you, can sometimes be the people that you hate the most. And maybe, just maybe, be the people that disappoint you over and over again. This is for you.
